Stephen Moyer Knew True Blood Would Be Huge

True Blood is one of our very favourite shows and the series' hero, vampire Bill Compton is simply gorgeous.

The fact that Stephen Moyer, who plays Bill, and Anna Paquin who plays his on-screen love interest, Sookie Stackhouse, are dating in real life just makes us go all squishy!
.
In a recent interview with This Morning, Stephen said he knew True Blood would be big after reading the script for the first time and just had to be involved.

"It came when I'd stopped trying, as these things always do.
.
"I'd actually just done a series with Debra Messing in the US - we'd been shooting that in Australia for four months - when my manager said, 'There's this great thing..' but I said I wanted to stay at home for a bit.
.
"Then I read it and I thought, 'This is it'. I just knew it had everything - it's not just about vampires."

We are so glad Stephen went for the role as we couldn't imagine anyone else playing it now!
